Recovery Unmuted is a survivor-led digital platform built by people who were treated like warnings, liabilities, and lost causes. For years, our lives were summarized in incident reports, dirty-urine notes, and progress updates written by people who never once asked what survival actually felt like.

This space is not neutral. It is not a “both sides” project. It is a record of harm, a refusal to stay quiet, and a place for people who are tired of being reduced to case numbers and cautionary tales.

We are not disposable. We are not inspirational fodder. We are the people the system expected to either “comply” or disappear.

We are still here. We are building something louder.
